It’s time to get spooked!
With Halloween approaching, there are many great Halloween events for Cayman residents and visitors to enjoy. October 31 is the actual day but there are immense opportunities before to have a Spooktacular time. Here’s a selection of some of the fun events:
Pre-Halloween Boogie Bash
Friday, 18 October, 6-10pm
Disco hosted by the Cayman Islands Youth Sailors, for ages 8-16. Prizes for best costumes at the club house disco by DJ Jacko. Drop the kids off or hang out with a drink on the lower deck at the Cayman Islands Sailing Club, Spinnaker Road, Red Bay. Entry $25 includes food, soft drinks, ghoulie bag and prizes.
The Haunting: Part 1
Friday, 25 October, 8pm-2am
Fantastic open-air party at Camana Bay at Festival Green. Music by Selecta Renegade, DJ Neko, DJ Cheriana, VJ Mars. Prizes for the best male, female and group costumes. Part proceeds will be donated to the Special Needs Foundation Cayman. Tickets $30.
Final Destination – All Inclusive Halloween Party Bus
Saturday, 26 October, 8pm-2am
Ticket includes: All you can drink, 4 party buses, 4 mystery stops, food and entry into the most exclusive SKYY-RY After Party. Music by Selecta Renegade, DJ Quan, DJ Wow and Guest DJs. Starting location: The Courtyard across from Star 92.7 Studio in George Town at 8pm sharp. Tickets $50.
Boos and Booze: Cayman's 1st Halloween Cooler Party
Saturday, 26 October, 7pm-12am
This promises to be one of the scariest Halloween events to hit Cayman. It’s at Pedro St. James on the great lawn as they completely transform the iconic castle in Savannah, about 25 minutes east of George Town. Presented by Monster Energy and Coca-Cola, it’s a great venue for Halloween. Pre-sold $25, at the gate $35.
La La by the Sea Boat Series (Halloween edition)
Sunday, 27 October, from 3pm
The most anticipated boat party of the season returns to West Bay Yacht Club. Halloween is just around the corner so why not bring the party to the sea? The Cayman sunset will be transformed into the scariest plastic free nightmare as guests dance the day and night away to the top soca, hip-hop, top 40, and house music with DJ Lynxx from Z99. Once again bring your own booze with some spooky drinks supplied by the notorious Sandbar Daiquiri Bar and Grill as well as a great photographer onboard. The best Halloween costume party on the island starts at 3pm. Prize for best costume. Tickets $30-$40. #lalabythesea
Halloween Moonlight & Movies
Thursday, 31 October, 6pm onwards
Enjoy a family-friendly Halloween-themed flick on the big screen on The Crescent, 10 Market Street, Camana Bay. Movie title to be announced nearer the time. After trick-or-treating is done, settle in with a picnic, takeout and - of course - a bag full of treats and enjoy a classic Halloween favourite on the big screen. Food and drink will be available for purchase from 6pm, with the film starting at 7pm.
Halloween Dive to the Balboa
Thursday, 31 October, 5:30-9pm
A Halloween night dive to the Balboa starting at check in time 5:45-6pm and the boat departs at 6:15pm. Resident specials at $40 and bcd/reg rental at $16.
